Election is the belief that God chooses whom to save. There are three main views on this doctrine:
Unconditional election is the belief that God chooses whom to elect to salvation independent of any choice or quality of those people.
Conditional election is the belief that God chooses to save individuals based on their decision to have faith in Christ.
Corporate election is the belief that God chooses to save the church as a whole rather than choosing individuals to save.
